Safe Flight Promotes Maria Ferrara to Vice President Manufacturing
White Plains, NY – December 23, 2019 – Safe Flight Instrument Corporation, the world’s leading manufacturer of aircraft lift instrumentation and control systems, announced the promotion of Maria Ferrara to the new position of Vice President Manufacturing.
Maria has over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing and aviation industry, including Lead Quality Assurance Engineer with BAE Systems. Since joining Safe Flight in 2005, Maria has taken on expanding roles and responsibilities within the organization and led several key initiatives highlighted by overseeing Safe Flight’s AS9100 certification. In her most recent position as Director of Quality Assurance, Maria developed methods to enable effective and efficient process controls for the manufacturing operation.
