Assembler – Mechanical Systems
Work includes assembling precision electro-mechanical parts. Experience with mechanical measurement, assembly techniques and blueprint reading skills.
Assembler – Wiring & Electronics
Work includes: wiring, fabricating electronic circuitry, printed wiring board and harness assemblies. Experience with electronic assembly techniques and blueprint reading skills.
Work Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years’ working experience with analog and surface mount PCB. Familiarity with IPC Standards; digital component level troubleshooting techniques utilizing oscilloscopes and logic analyzers a plus. Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematic and wiring diagrams; build test sets, cable harnesses and bread boards; and work independently as well as in a team environment.
A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a small job shop facility. Experience with conventional milling machines, conventional & hardinge lathes, grinding machines and drilling tapping machines required. Good communication and strong interpersonal skills required. Experience with Geometric Tolerance and Dimensioning; and knowledge of CNC programming and/or operation a plus.
Software Engineer (Mid-Senior Level)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 3+ years’ of embedded software experience, preferably in avionics, but will consider other real time application areas, using C/C++, ARM and Intel Microprocessors, low level device drivers, communications (UART, I2C, SPI, ARINC 429, 1553, Ethernet) is required. Experience in DO-178B/C including verification is highly desirable. Debugging skill using emulator is required. Some windows programming/scripting knowledge is preferred.
Software Verification Engineer
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 1+ years’ experience in Avionics software verification. Job functions include developing test case and test procedure in black box and white box environments for embedded software; performing structural coverage; writing test scripts; code review; document review. Familiarity with DO-178C is required. Fluency in C/C++ is required. Knowledge in hardware and experience in verification tools such as LDRA, emulator and/or embedded software systems preferred.
