Aviation International News August 2005: Safe Flight Ranks Among Top Avionics Suppliers

2005 AIN Product Support Survey

SAFE FLIGHT INSTRUMENT CORP. RANKS #1
IN COST OF PARTS, AOG RESPONSE AND TECHNICAL MANUAL EASE OF USE.

Safe Flight Instrument Corporation was recently ranked number one in Cost of Parts, AOG Response and Technical Manual Ease of Use and second overall in Aviation International News® 2005 product support survey among all Major Avionics Manufacturers.

In a sector that saw major declines in customer satisfaction Safe Flight was one of only four Avionics manufacturers that increased its overall rating from last year and did so with an overwhelming margin. The survey went on to say “the more than 15-percent improvement in score for Safe Flight moved that company from 11th position last year to second place this year.”

The survey ranks companies on seven different criteria and averaged a rating of 6.56 far lower than Safe Flight’s 7.36 overall rating which was far and away the largest increase in year to year improvement.

To measure their level of satisfaction with after-sale support, AIN solicited evaluations from more than 16,000 AIN subscriber flight department managers, chief pilots, line captains, first officers, maintenance chiefs and mechanics through a questionnaire listing more than 30 major manufacturers of turbine business aircraft, engines and avionics.
