Safe Flight AutoPower® Offered on Hemisphere 200XR
White Plains, NY (May 19, 2008) — Safe Flight Instrument Corporation’s Automatic Throttle System, AutoPower®, is now being offered as a customer-selected option for the Hemisphere 200XR.
Tailwind Capital LLC, the exclusive marketer of the Hemisphere 200XR, announced a partnership last year with Georgetown, Delaware completion and refurbishment specialist PATS Aircraft to complete the CRJ-200 regional airliner conversions. Safe Flight’s AutoPower® system installs during the modification process or retrofit to an existing aircraft already in service.
The Hemisphere 200XR AutoPower® system will provide continuous thrust management during takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, approach, landing phases of flight and go-around. Fully integrated with existing avionics displays and controls, AutoPower® features precise, smooth and synchronized speed and power control modes. AutoPower® components include a dedicated computer, two mode status display monitors and a modified throttle quadrant that includes the drive units and engage and disengage switches. All this capability will result in a seamless upgrade with significant cockpit improvement.

The Hemisphere 200XR is a large cabin, highly customizable private jet that can be configured for up to 16 passengers. The Hemisphere 200XR is converted from new to late-vintage Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft, enhanced with an auxiliary fuel tank system to provide a range up to 3,000nm.
