Safe Flight Receives L3 Communications Supplier of the Month

Safe Flight Instrument Corporation has been named the L3 Supplier of the Month for “exceptional performance” for August 2006.   In a ceremony held at the recipient’s White Plains, New York, headquarters, Teresa Schuster, Senior Systems Engineer of L3, presented Senior Vice President of Engineering, Joe Gordon, and President and CEO, Randall Greene, the prestigious honor in front of the companies 130 plus employees.

Shuster praised Safe Flight on their continued focus, performance and exemplary response time on vital tasks. “Safe Flight has been extremely accommodating to critical requirements of L3 and its customers. They operate differently than the traditional Supplier who is often bogged down by corporate policies.  You can tell the pride the employees at Safe Flight have in their company: it shows through in the quality and sensitivity to the customer”.

Safe Flight has been a supplier to L3 Communications on the Rivet Glass Upgrade since 2000 providing Angle of Attack, Stall Warning, Speed Command Attitude and Thrust (SCAT), N1 Computers, Wind Shear Warning Systems and Automatic Throttle Systems (AutoPower^®) on the L3 equipped USAF RC-135.
