Assembler – Mechanical Systems
Work includes assembling precision electro-mechanical parts. Experience with mechanical measurement, assembly techniques and blueprint reading skills a plus.
Electrical Design Engineer (Mid-Senior Level)
Mid-senior level electrical engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of our safety and performance avionics products.
Responsibilities: Electronic circuit design, integration, and testing; Schematic capture; Debugging of embedded systems; Interface with suppliers, contractors, and our multi-disciplinary teams to develop aviation quality products; Author engineering requirements, specifications, and procedures; Investigate new technologies for next generation products.
Required Education/Experience: BSEE or MSEE required; 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer or with a similar role; Knowledge of analog circuit design, embedded systems, and microcontroller based designs; Working knowledge of communication protocols and buses: SPI, I2C, RS-232, RS-485, etc.; Circuit simulation experience is desirable; Experience debugging circuit assemblies; Prior experience utilizing electrical CAD packages for schematic capture; Working knowledge of the typical lab tools: oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, power supplies, etc.; Avionics product development a plus.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing of circuit boards, wiring and soldering. The ability to perform: inspection, some testing and First Article Inspections. Candidate must be detailed oriented, organized, possess excellent communication skills and fluent in English. Computer literacy in Excel and Word required. IPC-A-610 certification experience preferred. Experience in lean manufacturing a plus.
Software Engineer (Mid-Senior Level)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 3+ years’ of embedded software experience, preferably in avionics, but will consider other real time application areas, using C/C++, ARM and Intel Microprocessors, low level device drivers, communications (UART, I2C, SPI, ARINC 429, 1553, Ethernet) is required. Experience in DO-178B/C including verification is highly desirable. Debugging skill using emulator is required. Some windows programming knowledge is preferred.
Software Verification Engineer
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 3+ years’ experience in Avionics software verification. Job functions include developing test case and test procedure in black box and white box environments for embedded software; performing structural coverage; writing test scripts; code review; document review. Familiarity with DO-178C is required. Fluency in C/C++ is required. Knowledge in hardware and experience in verification tools such as LDRA, emulator and/or embedded software systems preferred.
